Key Takeaways

  • The Injective blockchain supports a crypto exchange and decentralized application creation.
  • Its native coin, INJ, reached an all-time high in March but has fallen since then.
  • Will INJ be able to top its record price or is the $30 range the best it can do for now?
  • One Injective price prediction says it could reach $141.72 next year.

The Injective crypto platform generated some interest in the summer of 2023. The system launched its own hackathon in May, letting it potentially grab the attention of the wider cryptocurrency market and celebrated a milestone transaction in December.

Things got even better in the new year and it reached an a high in January. It fell after that, despite making its debut  on the Bitfinex crypto exchange

However, it reached a new all-time high in March before slumping.

By June 13 2024, INJ was worth about $30.

Injective did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Let’s take a look at the INJ price and make some suggestions for a Injective price prediction.

Injective Price Prediction

Minimum INJ Price Prediction Average INJ Price Prediction Maximum INJ Price Prediction
2024 $54 $61 $74
2025 $90 $100 $110
2030 $40 $50 $70

Injective Price Prediction 2024

The price of INJ is likely still developing its wave five from the larger wave three in a five-wave cycle. Projecting the targets with the Fibonacci extension tool, we developed its wave three target on the 1.272 Fibonacci level at $54, 1.618 at $61, and 2.272 at $74.

Injective Price Prediction 2025

INJ is expected to be in its corrective phase in the first half of 2025, allowing the fourth wave to develop. After completion, it should start its last advancement in this larger five-wave cycle. The all-time high target depends on the previously developed wave three depth and the following correction.

Injective Price Prediction 2030

If Injective reaches its all-time high in 2025, it will start a bear cycle later that year. These bear cycles are usually divided into a continuous downtrend and a period of stabilization, which can take around three years combined. That means the next bull cycle could start in 2029, around 80% lower than the all-time high, around $26 according to our macro Injective price forecast.

In 2030, the price of INJ could break out above this accumulation stage and form its first significant uptrend.

Injective Price Analysis

Since December 18, the price of INJ has formed a symmetrical triangle, signaling a consolidation period. The price broke out upwards, reaching a new all-time high of $52.75 on March 14. However, it soon plummeted, losing 65% of its value and dropping to a low of $18 by April 13 before rebounding above $20, showing signs of buying interest.

A symmetrical triangle formation indicates that INJ may stabilize before making a significant move. The June 12 high, which surpassed its previous high, confirmed a new uptrend, underscoring the breakout’s momentum.

The higher low on June 3 marks the end of the second wave of a new five-wave uptrend. Assuming this pattern holds, INJ’s price is expected to rise to $36 in its third wave, eventually reaching $41 as it concludes its upward trend.

INJ Price Analysis

This rise could represent the initial sub-wave of a larger bullish phase. To validate this scenario, the next correction should maintain a higher low, ideally above $31. Should this occur, it would confirm the start of a higher degree wave two, indicating a new higher price level for INJ. Given the previous downturn and the likely end of the correction phase, this scenario appears plausible.

Conversely, if the price fails to surpass $35 and faces rejection, the uptrend since May 1 could end as a three-wave correction, potentially leading to further declines. Therefore, a breakout above $35 and forming a five-wave structure would be critical indicators of the beginning of a new bullish phase for INJ.

Price/Performance Comparisons

Current Price One Year Ago Price Change
INJ $29 $6 383.33%
RNDR $8.70 $1.90 357.89%
1Inch $0.42 $0.26 61.54%
STX $2.32 $0.52 346.15%

How Do We Make an Injective Price Prediction?

Our price prediction for Injective combines technical analysis tools and recognizes the logic in price cycles. We’ve primarily used the Elliott Wave Principle, which describes these price movements in their motive and correction phases. Applied to the INJ-specific time-frames and its price history, we can come up with the targets, although the further we project, the less accurate they are because they depend on what happens in between.

From the Whitepaper

In its technical documentation, or whitepaper , Injective says that it is a “blockchain built for finance”.

It adds: “Injective is the only blockchain where developers can find robust out-of-the-box modules such as a completely decentralized orderbook that can be utilized to build a diverse array of sophisticated applications. Moreover, Injective is an open interoperable smart contracts platform.”

Injective (INJ) Explained

Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is based on the idea that people should be able to access financial services without having to rely on centralized institutions like banks.

Injective  is a blockchain designed to work in the DeFi space. It gives people the opportunity to build their own decentralized applications (dApps) and create their own crypto tokens.

As well as being a DeFi blockchain, Injective is also a crypto exchange. This means that it serves as a place where people can buy, sell, and trade crypto. It also allows people to take part in crypto derivatives trading.

The INJ coin supports Injective.

How Injective Works

Injective’s exchange platform uses order books to help fund transactions and set prices.

The system can also operate on a cross-blockchain basis, with links to Ethereum (ETH), Polygon (MATIC), and Solana (SOL).

Injective uses a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. This means that it selects people to add blocks to the blockchain and verify transactions based on how much INJ they hold.

People can stake, or set aside, INJ in return for rewards. Holders can vote on changes to the network and they can also buy, sell, and trade it on exchanges.

Is Injective a Good Investment?

It is hard to say at this time. While the crypto has performed extremely well recently, there is always the possibility that things could go wrong at any time.

Although Injective does a lot of things, it could be argued that it might benefit from a bit more focus. Certainly, crypto exchanges that double as dApp platforms are pretty rare, and that might be for a good reason.

As ever with crypto, you will need to make sure you do your own research before deciding whether or not to invest in INJ.

Will Injective go up or down?

No one can really tell right now. While the Injective crypto price predictions are largely positive, price predictions have a well-earned reputation for being wrong. Keep in mind, too, that prices can, and do, go down as well as up.

Should I invest in Injective?

Before you decide whether or not to invest in Injective, you will have to do your own research, not only on INJ, but also on other, related, coins and tokens such as Cronos (CRO) or Cosmos (ATOM). Either way, you will also need to make sure that you never invest more money than you can afford to lose.

How many Injective are there?

On June 13 2024, there were 93.4 million INJ in circulation out of a total supply of 100 million.

Will Injective Reach $100?

It might do. DigitalCoinPrice and CoinCodex said it could reach that level this year. Meanwhile, CaptainAltCoin and PricePrediction.net said it would reach three figures by 2025.

Keep in mind that Injective has never traded at $100. Its highest ever price, $52.65, came on March 13 2024.

What is Injective used for?

The INJ coin supports the Injective blockchain. People can buy, sell, and trade it on exchanges.
