Ripple Brings Its Marketing Push Underground

Subway advertising around Manhattan’s 42nd Street has put crypto branding in front of commuters, with displays appearing on trains and inside stations ahead of Ripple’s annual gathering.

Coverage of the campaign has highlighted the slogan “Crypto Responsibly.”

The timing puts Ripple in the public eye as financial institutions and XRP community members prepare to gather in Manhattan.

Swell 2026 runs from Oct. 27–29 at The Shed, with the event website listing more than 1,500 expected attendees, over 100 speakers, and upwards of 80 sessions.

Double-Digit XRP Prediction Faces a Steep Climb

In an Oct. 23 post on X, commentator Crypto Dyl News wrote:

“Got a weird feeling $XRP double digits right after Ripple swell next week.”

Double digits would mean at least $10.

From a starting price of $1.30, that would require an $8.70 increase per token, bringing XRP to around 7.69 times its starting price.

Meanwhile, a fivefold increase would take it to $6.50—still well short of the prediction.

From Las Vegas Billboards to Times Square

XRP has already received several high-profile publicity boosts this year.

As CCN reported in May, Ripple’s Las Vegas advertising campaign placed the token’s messaging across prominent digital displays around the Bitcoin 2026 conference and a separate community event.

The campaign generated enthusiastic reactions, even as holders remained concerned about the token’s price performance.

In August, CCN covered Bitwise’s suggestion that it could bring back its Times Square XRP billboard after daily trading volume across XRP ETFs exceeded $120 million.

Other promotions have drawn a less welcoming response.

CCN’s coverage of Ripple’s University of Kansas sponsorship documented frustration among holders who questioned the value of additional marketing while XRP’s price remained under pressure.

What Swell Would Need to Deliver For XRP

For the $10 argument to become more persuasive, investors would need evidence connecting developments at Swell to additional demand for XRP.

Relevant questions include whether announced products actually use the token and whether Ripple partnerships will create sustained buying or holding demand.

A single prominent speaker or a new advertisement cannot answer those questions alone.

The subway campaign adds to anticipation already building around potential announcements at Swell.

As CCN reported on Oct. 21, XRP treasury company Evernorth teased its involvement with a brief message:

“Something special is planned for @RippleSwell 2026.”

The teaser offered no details about a product or additional purchases.

However, it followed Evernorth’s plans to put its 473 million XRP treasury to work through institutional strategies, naming Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken and BitGo as execution partners.

Swell has also become a reference point for increasingly ambitious price predictions.

In earlier coverage of CryptoBull’s $27 XRP forecast, CCN highlighted how the conference ends just two days before the commentator’s end-of-October deadline.

Separately, CCN examined EGRAG’s conditional $7–$9 cycle-top scenario, which first called for a recovery toward $1.80–$2 and further price swings.
