Evernorth Teases Swell Plans

In an Oct. 19 post on X, Evernorth offered a brief message:

“Something special is planned for @RippleSwell 2026.”

Ripple Swell runs from Oct. 27–29 in New York, combining the company’s flagship conference with its Apex developer gathering and UBRI Connect academic event.

The published agenda includes discussions on institutional finance, tokenization and XRP utility, alongside a session featuring David Schwartz and Ayo Akinyele on the XRPL’s development.

In response to the post, one X user said: “Swell week usually brings real news, looking forward to seeing what it is.”

Another said: “Is it something that makes the price go up? Or another cartoon?”

Evernorth’s Treasury Strategy Is Already Taking Shape

As CCN previously reported, Evernorth’s merger process advanced a business model built around actively managing an XRP treasury and increasing per-share XRP exposure.

The company went on to name Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken and BitGo as institutional execution partners.

In its Oct. 14 announcement, Evernorth said institutional strategies would begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.

“We’re putting our treasury to work,” founder and CEO Asheesh Birla said.

The company described a phased approach which would initially use established institutional counterparties.

After that, it announced it would allocate capital to XRPL lending and credit markets as those capabilities become operational and prove themselves in production.

EGRAG Maps a Conditional Path Toward $9

At the same time,  EGRAG’s Oct. 19 analysis compares XRP’s price structure with a historical Bitcoin pattern.

According to his thesis, the analyst first wants to see XRP recover toward $1.80–$2.

Following that, he said XRP retreating toward $1.50 could precede another expansion.

His projected cycle-top range is $7–$9, with the chart’s $8.26 Fibonacci extension falling inside that band.

“$7-$9 would already be an excellent XRP cycle,” he said.

What Would Make the Announcement Matter?

For XRP holders, the key question is whether Evernorth unveils something that changes its capital commitments and token purchases.

An update on how much XRP will be deployed, and under what conditions, would give investors more to assess than a promotional message.

As CCN’s previous coverage explained, pursuing returns on a corporate treasury also introduces counterparty and investment risks.

A Swell update would need to distinguish between fresh purchases and capital allocated to lending or other activities.

Moving existing tokens into a new strategy does not establish that additional buying pressure will follow.

Beyond Evernorth, Swell’s agenda offers several opportunities to assess the development of the XRP ecosystem. Scheduled sessions include the XRPL’s institutional DeFi roadmap, on-chain credit and AI-driven payments.

Evernorth itself has said it intends to introduce onchain strategies as the necessary capabilities are activated by validators and demonstrated in production.

What Could Derail the $9 XRP Scenario?

EGRAG’s forecast depends on XRP following a sequence of recovery and renewed expansion.

Failure to regain the initial $1.80–$2 region would leave that sequence unconfirmed.

Meanwhile, a deeper or more prolonged decline could also weaken the comparison with Bitcoin’s historical pattern.

Using $1.31 as a reference price, XRP would need to rise around 53% to reclaim $2.

Reaching $7 would require a gain of around 434%, while hitting $9 would demand roughly 587% — taking the token to nearly seven times its starting price.

Even after recovering to $2, the token would still need to climb another 350% to reach the upper target.
