Key Takeaways

  • Ripple expects to exit 2026 with a $900 million annualized product revenue run rate, supported by acquisitions and growth across its financial services.
  • RLUSD’s market capitalization has reached $2.6 billion, up more than 88% this year, as Ripple expands partnerships with BNY and Robinhood.
  • Ripple reports threefold growth in customers using multiple products, although it has not disclosed how much revenue comes from acquisitions versus existing operations.

Ripple expects its annualized product revenue run rate to approach $900 million by the end of 2026, as the company expands beyond cross-border payments into stablecoins, prime brokerage and corporate treasury management.

The projection, announced alongside Ripple Swell 2026, follows a year of acquisitions and new institutional partnerships involving BNY, Robinhood and other financial companies.

Ripple also reported that customers and partners using multiple products have increased threefold, suggesting that its strategy of combining financial services under one platform is gaining traction.

However, the $900 million figure represents projected annualized revenue based on the company’s expected year-end performance, not revenue already earned during 2026.

Ripple Targets $900M as Institutional Business Expands

Ripple said its products enabled more than $16 trillion in transactions during 2025, reflecting activity across businesses that now span payments, custody, financing and treasury operations.

The figure should not be confused with transaction volume settled directly through XRP or the XRP Ledger.

Ripple Payments, its cross-border payment network, is approaching $150 billion in cumulative lifetime volume and supports payouts across more than 60 markets.

The company now serves more than 1,700 institutions, corporations, and enterprises, supported by over 85 regulatory licenses.

Ripple’s growth strategy increasingly depends on selling multiple financial services to existing customers rather than relying exclusively on cryptocurrency payments. Robinhood, for example, is expanding its relationship with Ripple across RLUSD, Ripple Prime, and Ripple Treasury.

The arrangement includes stablecoin settlement, institutional financing and internal cash management.

However, Ripple has not disclosed how much of its projected revenue comes from acquired businesses or how quickly its original operations are growing.

Without those figures, investors cannot determine how much of the expected $900 million run rate is attributable to organic expansion.

RLUSD Hits $2.6B as Ripple Expands Stablecoin Partnerships

Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin has reached approximately $2.6 billion in market capitalization, representing growth of more than 88% since the beginning of 2026.

The dollar-backed token is now available through major trading platforms, including Coinbase, Robinhood, Binance, Kraken, and OKX.

Ripple is also expanding RLUSD’s use in institutional settlement through relationships involving Mastercard and Cross River.

Meanwhile, Ripple received final approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for Ripple National Trust Bank, strengthening its federally supervised infrastructure for stablecoin reserves and institutional custody.

The company is also working with BNY on tokenized trade finance using XRPL, beginning with a supplier financing initiative involving C2FO.

These developments broaden RLUSD’s potential applications beyond cryptocurrency trading.

Still, stablecoin market capitalization is not equivalent to Ripple’s revenue. The financial contribution depends on reserve income, operating expenses, distribution arrangements and other commercial factors that Ripple has not fully disclosed.

Can Ripple Turn Institutional Adoption Into Sustainable Revenue?

Ripple Prime now supports institutional activity across traditional and digital asset markets, including relationships with Kalshi, Hyperliquid, Jump Trading and Virtu.

Ripple Treasury, meanwhile, serves more than 1,000 customers across 160 countries, offering cash management, forecasting and liquidity services.

These businesses give Ripple several potential revenue streams beyond payments.

The next test is whether its growing institutional network produces recurring revenue and sustainable margins.

Ripple’s $900 million target suggests considerable commercial expansion, but revenue composition, profitability and the contribution from acquisitions remain undisclosed.

For XRP investors, the company’s growth also does not automatically translate into proportional demand for the token. RLUSD and Ripple’s institutional products can generate business activity without requiring equivalent XRP purchases.

Ripple’s year-end results will offer a clearer picture of whether its expanding financial infrastructure is delivering the commercial performance implied by its revenue target
