  • As it turns out, DeGeneres isn’t as bad as people claim – she sounds worse.

Ellen DeGeneres isn’t as bad as people claim. It sounds like she’s actually far worse.

Another former staffer who worked on the embattled comedian’s talk show has come forward to share their experience in the “toxic” work environment DeGeneres helped foster.

‘Kind of Like The Devil Wears Prada’

While the former staffer chose to remain anonymous, the message was once again made clear . Ellen DeGeneres is a nightmare to work for – and she doesn’t come close to living out her “Be Kind” mantra.

The staffer, who was a camera operator, told an Australian radio show that the only reason people work on the show is to get it on their resume. For better or worse, it does offer a bit of prestige.

They compared Ellen DeGeneres to “The Devil Wears Prada” — referring to the Meryl Streep film based loosely on Anna Wintour and Vogue Magazine, in which Streep’s character is a nightmarish shrew of a boss.

I worked there for a little over a year. It’s kind of like The Devil Wears Prada. Everyone is trying to make it to the (end of a) year. It’s just a badge of honor to have that and have it on your resume.

As an example, the staffer claimed employees were given the directive to not even be in the same room with DeGeneres when she arrived.

It wasn’t always obvious whether these insane directives came from DeGeneres herself – or just her producers. Not that it should matter. The responsibility ultimately rests on Ellen’s shoulders.

While her wife, Portia de Rossi, claims Ellen will continue to work on the show  despite all the allegations against her, the question of “why” is increasingly unavoidable.

How much more evidence do we need that Ellen DeGeneres is a horrible person who doesn’t deserve an ounce of the success she’s been afforded?

How many more people have to come forward before fans stop getting star-struck by the fancy giveaways and the phony dances – and finally cancel her for good?
