Key Takeaways

  • Team-linked wallets sent 81.87 million TRUMP to exchanges over eight months, valued at approximately $249 million at the time of transfer.
  • The team’s remaining allocation is estimated at 718 million tokens, equivalent to 72% of the total supply.
  • Exchange deposits do not confirm sales or establish that the team received $249 million in proceeds.

Wallets associated with the TRUMP token team transferred approximately 81.87 million tokens to centralized exchanges over eight months, according to on-chain analyst EmberCN.

The transfers, valued at roughly $249 million at the time, went to platforms including Binance and OKX.

Despite those movements, the team’s remaining allocation is estimated at approximately 718 million TRUMP, equivalent to 72% of the token’s one-billion supply.

The figures highlight continued ownership concentration, although exchange deposits alone do not establish that the tokens were sold or that the team received $249 million in proceeds.

Team-Linked Wallets Transfer 81.87 Million TRUMP

EmberCN’s findings place the average token price at the time of the transfers at approximately $3.04. The $249 million figure therefore represents the estimated value of tokens entering exchanges, rather than verified cash proceeds.

Spread across eight months, the reported movements average approximately 10.23 million TRUMP per month. That calculation describes the aggregate pace of transfers; it does not mean deposits occurred evenly or followed a fixed schedule.

Market observers saw a substantial movement roughly two weeks earlier, when a team-linked wallet transferred 11.25 million TRUMP valued at about $26 million.

Of that amount, 3.25 million tokens, worth approximately $6.9 million, reportedly went directly to OKX.

Exchange inflows attract attention because they can make tokens available for trading. However, a deposit can also support liquidity provision, custody arrangements, or collateral use.

Remaining Allocation Equals Nearly 72% of Total Supply

TRUMP’s original distribution assigned 800 million tokens, or 80% of the total supply, to the project’s creators and associated entities.

The official project website identifies CIC Digital LLC, an affiliate of The Trump Organization, and Fight Fight Fight LLC as collectively holding that allocation, subject to a three-year unlocking schedule.

It also states that 200 million tokens were available initially, with supply releases scheduled over three years.

Subtracting the reported 81.9 million exchange transfers from the original 800 million allocation leaves 718.1 million tokens, consistent with the estimate.

The transferred amount represents approximately 8.2% of the total supply and 10% of the original team allocation. Those percentages use different denominators and should not be confused.

EmberCN valued the remaining holdings at approximately $1.49 billion when the report was published.

That valuation fluctuates with TRUMP’s market price and does not represent an amount necessarily obtainable through liquidation.

The unlocking schedule also means ownership should not be equated with immediate availability for sale. The reported remaining allocation can include tokens still subject to release restrictions.

Price Weakness Puts Potential Selling Pressure in Focus

TRUMP was trading near $2.06 on Oct. 5, down approximately 6% over the preceding 24 hours.

That price snapshot accompanied renewed attention to exchange transfers, but the reporting does not establish that team-linked deposits caused the decline. Other market conditions and trading activity could also have influenced prices.

Nevertheless, concentrated ownership creates a potential supply overhang: additional tokens could become available as allocations unlock and holders move assets onto trading platforms.

The market impact would depend on how many tokens are actually offered for sale, the pace of distribution, and available buying demand. Transfers alone cannot answer those questions.

For traders, the central issue is the relationship between future releases and market liquidity.

The team’s estimated 72% share remains substantial, while the reported $249 million in exchange inflows raises questions about how that allocation will be managed.
