Kim Kardashian has reunited with Kanye West – allegedly.
After a ridiculously-volatile couple of weeks, the tumultuous couple finally met up in Wyoming. As you’d expect with the Kardashians, a paparazzo just happened to be on hand to capture every (crocodile?) tear.
While the naive among us might fawn over Kim and Kanye’s oh-so-tearjerking reunion, one legal expert suggests something far more cynical could be at play.
Kim Kardashian Never Met a Publicity Stunt She Didn’t Like
The Kardashians and the paparazzi go together like nachos and cheese. And we all know Kim Kardashian never met a publicity stunt she didn’t like.
That’s important to keep in mind when evaluating her dust-up with Kanye.
After all Kardashian and West have been through, it’s… interesting that their reunion culminated in a tear-filled trip to Wendy’s.
From what we could see, they seemed to be behaving more like teenagers in “puppy love” than adults weathering their marriage’s rockiest moment yet.
Maybe that was Kim Kardashian’s plan all along.
Someone Had to Put Kanye West Back in Line
It’s pretty clear that Kanye West’s attempts at running for president – which may have been nothing more than a publicity stunt – spiraled out of control rather quickly.
Divorce attorney Holly Davis of the law firm Kirker Davis believes Kim may have only allowed divorce rumors to circulate to “rein in Kanye” – and wrest back control of the narrative.
The tabloid fallout from Kanye’s infamous campaign rally and subsequent social media meltdown was probably not what anyone in the Kardashian Klan had in mind when West announced his White House bid.
This, suggests Davis, is why the middle Kardashian child had to step in and control the narrative.
The Kardashians like publicity, but they like to control it—similar to Beyonce and JayZ. Kanye is uncontrollable at times. Therefore, they will try to reign him in, especially if he is no longer seeking medical treatment or following the recommendations of his treating physician with regard to taking medicine for his disorder.
And so, as usual, another episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” is in the can. And Kim Kardashian comes out of it all smelling like roses.
