It’s no shame that Rapper Kanye West likes to talk about himself. Since he lied about being a billionaire, the 43-year-old rapper announced a few weeks ago that he’s running for president. He’s losing his mind! At his first-ever event, he talks about a hard, overwhelming topic: abortion.
“No more Plan B — Plan A,” Kanye said to the audience, and they were all mixed up from his response. “Even if my wife wants to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world even when I didn’t want to. She stood up, and she protected that child. You know who else protected a child? Forty-three years ago, who do you think protected a child?”
“My mom saved my life. My dad wanted to abort me. My mom, there my life, there would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy.”
You can tell he has a lot in his mind about that touching topic. Then, he transitions to another issue of Harriet Tubman, and this time, he made the audience get up and leave.
“Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other White people.”
One crowd member groaned, “Come on, man,” while another member said, “OK, we’re leaving now.”
Not only that, but he also has a lot in his mind; he doesn’t know anything about politics or slavery. Back in October 2018, he appeared on TMZ Live to discuss one thing: his bipolar disorder. In case you forgot, he mentioned that he stopped taking his medication because they were affecting his creativity. Then, he went on a tangent, discussing that slavery was a choice.
“When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice.”
He’s projecting this statement as people of color chose to be slaves. Come on, Kanye. He needs to go to therapy to get appropriately treated.
A source told PEOPLE that he has many episodes with his mental disorder.
“Kanye has been doing well for a long time. In the past, he has suffered both manic and depressive episodes related to his bipolar disorder. Right now, he is struggling again.”
“Kim is concerned, as well as her whole family. It’s super stressful for Kim, because Kanye’s behavior is very unpredictable. She is worried,” the source said. “The episodes usually last for a few weeks and then things go back to normal. Kim hopes it will be the same this time.”
Then, the rapper had the Forbes interview, where he addressed his mental health.
“You know I was out there, ended up in the hospital, people were calling me crazy. I’m not crazy.”
Let’s not also forget that in November 2016, the rapper went to the hospital for a psychiatric emergency. After leaving the hospital, he went in for an interview with radio host Big Boy telling everyone that his disorder is a superpower.
“I had never been diagnosed until I was 39,” Kanye said talking about his Ye album. “But like I said on the album, it’s not a disability, it’s a superpower.”
Kanye, do yourself a favor and take care of yourself because you need to be with your wife and kids instead of running for president.
