  • Kanye West recently tweeted out a public apology to his wife, Kim Kardashian.
  • This apology seems to be the perfect “arc” to this storyline.
  • Is West sincere, or is this all a publicity stunt to promote his upcoming album?

Kanye West is sorry – or so he wants us to think.

After a crazy couple of weeks, the rapper finally took to his social media accounts this weekend to publicly apologize to his wife, Kim Kardashian, for his behavior.

While this seems like the perfect story arc, it’s a little too convenient. And it reeks of the hallmarks of a publicity stunt.

Kanye West Should Have Apologized

Whether Kanye West is suffering from an episode related to his bipolar disorder or not, this is only an explanation for his bad behavior – not an excuse for it.

West absolutely should have apologized for everything he did.

No matter what you think of Kim Kardashian, you can’t argue she deserved to have such personal – and intimate – details about herself exposed in such an outrageous way.

It’s a good thing that he apologized, even if – once again – he did it in such a public way.

And yet I can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to this story.

“Donda” Is Dropping Soon

As a few people on social media have correctly pointed out, Kanye West has a bit of a habit of “acting out” when he’s getting ready to promote a new project.

He’s been doing this for at least a decade.

Right around the time he announced his presidential run and began his public breakdown, the rapper revealed he was “putting the finishing touches” on his latest album, “Donda.”

He did hit one roadblock. Taylor Swift swooped in at the last minute to swipe the spotlight on the album’s original release date.

He issued his “apology” to Kim just one day later. Suddenly, the focus was back on him.

Do you really think that’s a coincidence?

You can’t help but wonder why this episode ended ever-so-perfectly for Kanye West, especially when this would be grounds for divorce for any other couple.

This doesn’t mean Kim was in on it, but Kanye did marry a Kardashian. They, like him, are masters of the publicity stunt.
