Key Takeaways
  • Grant Cardone is offering 10 Bitcoin, currently worth around $867,000, to whoever introduces the eventual buyer of his $80 million private jet and helps close the sale.
  • Cardone previously offered to sell the aircraft for 1,025 BTC, which is now worth roughly $88.9 million, with Bitcoin trading near $86,700.
  • Cardone separately believes Bitcoin could reach a $20 trillion market cap, putting BTC close to $1 million.

Real estate mogul Grant Cardone has placed an extraordinary bounty on his $80 million private jet, offering 10 Bitcoin to anyone who can find a buyer.

At BTC’s current price of roughly $86,700, the reward is already worth around $867,000.

But Cardone’s own long-term Bitcoin thesis suggests the reward would become dramatically more valuable if whoever earns it decides to hold.

The founder of Cardone Capital recently argued that Bitcoin’s total market capitalization will reach $20 trillion.

That valuation would imply a price of roughly $1 million per coin, meaning Cardone’s 10 BTC finder’s fee could be worth around $10 million if it’s reached.

How Do You Earn Cardone’s 10 Bitcoin?

Cardone announced the bounty while trying to sell his 2024 Bombardier Global 7500, an ultra-long-range business jet listed for $80 million.

The aircraft has four cabins, approximately 200 flight hours, and remains under warranty, according to details reported by TheStreet.

But simply sending Cardone a name will not earn someone the Bitcoin prize money.

Cardone said the person claiming the reward must directly introduce the actual buyer to his team rather than passing them to a broker.

They must then also assist in getting the transaction over the finish line.

If several people work together to produce the buyer, the 10 BTC bounty will be divided among them.

Cardone’s Jet Already $9M More Expensive

The Bitcoin mathematics surrounding the aircraft has already changed significantly in just a few weeks.

Earlier in September, Cardone offered to accept 1,025 BTC for the Global 7500.

At the time, BTC was trading around $78,400, putting the crypto price for the jet close to its $80 million listing.

However, Bitcoin is now trading at roughly $86,700.

That makes 1,025 BTC worth approximately $88.9 million, nearly $9 million more than Cardone’s stated $80 million cash price.

Could Cardone’s 10 BTC Reward Really Become Worth $10 Million?

Cardone has made his long-term view of Bitcoin clear throughout the years.

On Aug. 31, he wrote that BTC would become a means of exchange when its market capitalization reaches $20 trillion.

BTC’s current market capitalization sits at roughly $1.73 trillion, according to CoinGecko data.

This means Cardone’s threshold would require the network’s valuation to increase more than elevenfold from current levels.

However, if it manages to do so, the price implications would be massive.

Bitcoin currently has just under 20 million coins in circulation.

Dividing the $20 trillion market capitalization by around 19.96 million BTC produces an implied price of around $1 million per Bitcoin.

In other words, the person who earns Cardone’s roughly $867,000 bounty today could theoretically be sitting on close to $10 million if BTC eventually reaches his valuation.

The $1 million figure is not new for Cardone.

In 2025, his projections, based on his real estate-and-Bitcoin investment strategy, assumed BTC could reach $1 million per coin within five years.

Bitcoin $1M Bulls Are Common In 2026

While Cardone did not explicitly predict that Bitcoin would reach $1 million on this occasion, many others have this year.

ARK Invest founder Cathie Wood maintains a $1.25 million bull-case target by 2030, while Fundstrat’s Tom Lee has argued Bitcoin could eventually reach around $2 million if its network value grows to match gold.

Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor has gone much further, saying Bitcoin could ultimately reach $21 million per coin over several decades.

More conservative forecasts remain below those levels, but are still extremely bullish.

Standard Chartered currently targets $100,000 by the end of 2026, while Bernstein has maintained a $150,000 year-end target.
