Key Takeaways

  • The XRP Ledger added $2.6 billion in tokenized RWAs in six months, making it the second-fastest growing blockchain for RWA inflows behind BNB Chain.
  • AI adoption on XRPL is accelerating, with more than 1.4 million AI-agent transactions processed.
  • Technically, XRP remains in a broader downtrend, with $1.18 acting as the first major resistance and $1.28 representing the next key breakout level.

XRP is attempting to stabilize after a volatile week, with the token hovering around $1.10 as investors digest a series of ecosystem developments that reinforce the XRP Ledger’s growing role in tokenized finance.

While the cryptocurrency remains below key technical resistance, expanding real-world asset (RWA) issuance, institutional infrastructure upgrades, and continued ETF demand have helped support sentiment despite broader macroeconomic uncertainty.

The latest catalyst comes from the XRP Ledger’s rapid expansion in tokenized assets.

Over the past six months, the network has added approximately $2.6 billion in tokenized real-world assets, excluding stablecoins, making it the second-largest blockchain for net RWA inflows during the period behind only BNB Chain.

Although that growth does not automatically translate into stronger demand for XRP itself, analysts say it further strengthens the ledger’s position as one of the leading blockchain platforms for institutional tokenization.

XRP Ledger Among Leading Tokenization Platforms

The XRP Ledger has quietly become one of the fastest-growing destinations for tokenized real-world assets.

Data shows the network added around $2.6 billion in new RWA value over the past six months, comfortably outpacing Solana’s roughly $1.6 billion and Avalanche’s approximately $972 million over the same period.

Ethereum continues to dominate the sector in total tokenized assets, but its net additions during the measurement window were significantly smaller.

Much of XRPL’s tokenized value comes from Justoken’s JMWH energy tokens, which account for roughly $2.23 billion of the network’s RWA activity.

Overall, the ledger now supports more than $5.37 billion in combined tokenized assets and stablecoins.

Importantly, much of this value reflects institutional issuance recorded on the blockchain rather than fully distributed on-chain assets.

Currently, around $323 million is distributed as tokenized assets, while the remainder represents regulated financial products tracked in the ledger.

The figures highlight growing institutional confidence in XRPL’s infrastructure, particularly as developers continue introducing compliance tools, permissioned trading capabilities, and proposed lending features designed for regulated financial markets.

Ripple Expands Institutional Ecosystem Beyond XRP

Ripple has also continued to build the infrastructure supporting its stablecoin strategy.

The company recently launched Ripple Mint, a platform that allows institutional customers to mint, redeem, bridge, and manage RLUSD through a unified interface or integrated APIs.

The platform targets financial institutions seeking automated settlement, treasury management, and cross-border payment capabilities.

Ripple also announced a strategic investment in compliance provider Notabene, whose payment infrastructure connects more than 2,300 financial institutions across over 100 jurisdictions and processes roughly $2 trillion in annualized payment volume.

The partnership aims to integrate RLUSD into Notabene Flow, potentially expanding Ripple’s reach among regulated payment providers.

Meanwhile, XRP Ledger’s growing artificial intelligence ecosystem continues to gain traction.

AI agents have now processed more than 1.4 million automated transactions on the network, suggesting developers are increasingly testing XRPL for machine-to-machine payments and autonomous financial applications.

Binance has further supported adoption by introducing RLUSD incentives alongside XRP reward programs for eligible users, increasing visibility for Ripple’s expanding ecosystem.

Technical Outlook Still Depends on Reclaiming Resistance

Despite improving fundamentals, XRP’s price structure remains cautious.

The token briefly approached $1.16 before retreating back toward $1.10, leaving much of its recent recovery vulnerable to renewed selling pressure.

Technically, XRP remains inside a broad descending channel, meaning the larger trend has yet to reverse despite improving sentiment.

The first resistance traders continue watching sits near $1.18. A successful breakout there could open the door to the more significant $1.28 resistance zone, where previous rallies have repeatedly stalled.

On the downside, buyers have successfully defended the important $1.02-$1.04 support region several times during recent weeks.

Maintaining that area remains essential for preventing a deeper correction below the psychologically important $1.00 level.
