Web3 Gaming Pushes Sei To Record Activity With 1.6M Daily Transactions

Activity on Sei (SEI) surged to an all-time high of over 1.6 million as fresh Web3 gaming titles attracted hundreds of thousands of players, yielding millions of transactions on the network.

As a result, the SEI token has jumped by around 50% in the past week, adding over $600 million to its market cap.

Sei Activity Pumps

As per the on-chain tracker, Nansen, Sei activity has surged in the past week, recording 1.6 million transactions on June 24, an all-time high.

The activity has yielded double-digit gains for the SEI token, bumping it up from just under $0.2 to over $0.3 today. It has yielded a gigantic leap for the token’s market cap, which has soared from $1.08 billion to $1.7 billion in that same period.

The performance places SEI as the second-best performing token for the past 7 days, and a vast majority of activity comes from the network’s latest and greatest Web3 games.

Gaming Leads

Leading the way is World of Dypians, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that has tallied 888,805 transactions in the past 7 days across 131,422 users.

It’s followed by Nika Labs, a Web3 gaming ecosystem, which yielded 527,187 transactions in the past 7 days. It’s home to several games,

Despite losing out to World of Dypian’s in transactions, Nika Labs has drawn 350,708 users, more than half the network’s userbase in the past week.

Other titles, such as Web3 fantasy football game, European Fantasy League (EUFT) recorded over 223,000 transactions across 65,653 users.

Dragon Slither, a Telegram-based game on Sei, also garnered significant attention, recording 98,714 transactions across 98,467 users in the past 7 days.
