Key Takeaways
  • Ripple has expanded GSmart with AI agents.
  • The technology is built into Ripple Treasury.
  • Analyst Egrag Crypto has mapped a possible XRP move to approximately $13.

Ripple has expanded its corporate treasury platform with AI agents that can identify risks, recommend financial actions and explain the policies behind them.

The Sept. 10 launch adds a new suite of capabilities to GSmart, already operating across Ripple’s enterprise customer base.

The expansion arrives as analyst Egrag Crypto points to historical cycle data that could theoretically place XRP near $13 during another major market advance.

Ripple’s AI Agents Must Wait for Human Approval

Ripple described the new technology as “treasury-native AI,” designed specifically for the controls used by corporate finance departments.

GSmart’s orchestrated agents can recommend an action when they identify a potential issue, the firm said.

Each recommendation includes the organizational policy that supports it, providing employees with a record of why the system reached its conclusion.

The agent must then wait for a person to approve the action before anything is executed.

Ripple said its conventional calculation engines remain responsible for financial calculations, while AI interprets policies and explains recommendations.

The expansion also introduces Knowledge Studio, where companies can define the policies and controls governing the AI’s behavior.

Meanwhile, Analytics Studio includes Ask GSmart, a conversational assistant that allows treasury teams to generate insights from their financial data.

Where XRP and RLUSD Enter the Picture

The announcement’s connection to XRP stems from the broader infrastructure underlying Ripple Treasury.

Ripple entered the corporate treasury market through its $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury in October 2025.

In April 2026, the company subsequently launched Digital Asset Accounts and Unified Treasury, bringing native digital-asset management into the platform.

Those features allow finance teams to view and manage XRP and Ripple USD alongside their conventional bank balances.

GSmart’s AI now runs on a platform capable of managing both conventional cash and assets such as XRP and RLUSD.

That could make crypto more visible within day-to-day corporate treasury operations.

Analyst’s Cycle Math Puts XRP Near $13

As Ripple expands the enterprise infrastructure surrounding its digital assets, Egrag Crypto has published a separate forecast based on XRP’s previous market cycles.

According to analysis, XRP’s three previous major expansions produced gains of approximately 2,405%, 1,002% and 1,250%.

Averaging these surges yields a projected expansion of roughly 1,552%.

However, Egrag said he favors the “geometric mean,” which yields an average increase of around 1,444%.

Applied from the analyst’s designated “Alpha Base,” that calculation produces a hypothetical XRP target near $13.

“No fantasy numbers. No random targets. Just Math,” Egrag wrote.

The extreme valuation assumes that XRP will reproduce the scale of its previous bull-market expansions — despite changes in its market capitalization and broader economic conditions.

XRP currently trades near $1.35.

A rise to $13 from that level would require an increase of approximately 863%, meaning the token would have to gain almost tenfold.
