Key Takeaways
  • Catizen has attracted over 49 million players, with more than 1 million active monthly.
  • Bombie has drawn 9–10 million users since August 2024.
  • The BOMB token is expected to have a total supply of 10 billion.

Catizen, one of Telegram’s largest Web3 gaming ecosystems, has wrapped up the second season of its Airdrop Pass campaign. Players can expect their rewards, linked to both the Cattea and Bombie games, to drop on May 7.

The update comes ahead of the biggest milestone yet for Catizen’s ecosystem, the long-awaited token launch for Bombie. The game’s official X and Telegram channels are now teasing a major reveal set for May 1.

Airdrop Pass S2 Wraps

According to the Catizen team, calculations for Airdrop Pass S2 have been finalized. Throughout the season, players earned points by completing in-game tasks across Catizen, Bombie, and the newest title, Cattea.

The Catizen APP Center itself would also have tasks for players to complete, such as social activities, fiat top-ups, and friend referrals.

In the previous season, players were rewarded with CATI tokens and BOMB points.

However, it’s unknown if the points awarded are a direct 1:1 representation of how many tokens a player will receive during the Bombie or Cattea token-generation event.

With S2 closed, attention is now shifting toward the long-teased Bombie airdrop.

Bombie’s “Strategic Ambiguity”

Since Bombie’s launch, the development team has taken a quiet approach to updates, sporadically posting teasers and offering little detail about the game’s future or its native token.

That’s now changing. Over the past few weeks, Catizen’s team has hinted at new features and gameplay tied to Bombie’s economy.

While specifics remain limited, screenshots and cryptic posts suggest expanded utility for the BOMB token.

With around 9 to 10 million users since launch, Bombie has built momentum.

Now, many are watching to see if its token rollout will deliver on the hype and possibly become one of the year’s biggest airdrops in the Telegram gaming space.

Once the dust settles, the next milestone could be the airdrop for Catizen’s third flagship title: Cattea.
