Key Takeaways
  • Jake Claver says he still expects XRP to reach $10,000 by late 2026 or early 2027.
  • XRP Asia has launched to expand developer support and adoption across the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Claver’s forecast follows a missed $100 target for 2025, while renewed escrow speculation draws on an older statement.

Jake Claver is standing by his prediction that XRP could reach $10,000 within months, as a new regional organization launches to help expand the XRP Ledger’s footprint across Asia.

The advocate reiterated his late-2026 or early-2027 target in a live stream on Thursday, maintaining a forecast well beyond even the triple-digit predictions circulating among the token’s biggest supporters.

Meanwhile, XRP Asia’s new launch welcomes a regional effort to support businesses, developers, and startups building on the network.

Claver Stands by $10,000 XRP After Earlier Forecast Miss

Claver acknowledged that his latest target repeats a prediction he has made before.

He said he previously believed XRP would reach $10,000 toward the end of 2026 or early 2027, adding:

“I still think that.”

His conviction follows criticism over an earlier forecast that XRP would reach $100 by the end of 2025 — a deadline that passed without the target being achieved.

In January, Claver defended his broader adoption argument, pointing to the delays involved in working with regulators and large institutions.

The renewed $10,000 prediction raises the stakes substantially, however.

It is 100 times his previous $100 target, with a deadline approaching in the coming months.

How Claver Thinks XRP Could Reach $10,000

Claver’s argument involves several stages, beginning with a rise to between $50 and $100 driven by organic demand and by banks using it as a financial asset.

He believes that the initial increase would lay the groundwork for widespread institutional adoption.

Once banks hold the token on their balance sheets and use it at those prices, he anticipates what he describes as a “systemic administrative repricing.”

However, the remarks do not explain how it would translate into a sustained price increase across markets.

Claver also envisages problems involving stablecoin liquidity or sanctions — particularly affecting Tether’s USDT — prompting exchanges to turn to the token.

In his scenario, that shift would create another source of demand.

The final stage involves its use to settle the global derivatives market.

Claver argues that this would validate the “Crypto Phoenix” theory he references and propel the token toward $10,000.

XRP Asia Arrives After Seoul’s “Special Announcement” Tease

The launch follows CCN’s earlier report on the “special announcement” scheduled for XRP Seoul.

XRP Asia, led by Sabrina Tachdjian, is intended to help builders turn projects into functioning businesses across the Asia-Pacific region.

Reported plans include developer training, startup assistance, connections to funding, and support for bringing products to market.

The effort builds on existing communities in Japan and Korea while seeking a wider regional presence.

The initiative was already taking shape earlier this year.

In February, Ripple described XRP Asia as a planned regional hub, with a longer-term vision of a local team capable of distributing funding and encouraging adoption.
