Solana Mobile Token Seeker Breaks Downtrend — Here’s What a 38% Jump Could Mean for SKR’s Price

Key Takeaways

  • Seeker surged 38% after breaking out of a falling channel, signaling a potential trend reversal.
  • Growing adoption is driving real demand, while negative funding rates suggest a short squeeze.
  • If momentum holds, SKR could extend higher, but overbought conditions increase the risk of a pullback.

Seeker (SKR) had been stuck in a pattern most crypto traders know all too well.

Lower highs, weak rallies, and a steady downtrend kept the token about 62% below its January all-time high.

Then came the shift.

Today, SKR broke out of that script, surging 38% and outperforming much of the market.

What changed—and can the momentum hold? Let’s take a closer look.

Seeker Ascends Past Descending Channel

SKR appears to have completed a textbook falling channel breakout.

From the chart below, SKR’s price defended horizontal support near $0.015, printed a higher low, then surged through descending resistance.

What looked like a corrective weakness may now be evolving into a reversal pattern.

The immediate breakout target sits near $0.021, a major horizontal resistance shown on the chart. Just as important, the breakout candle was not isolated.

On the 4-hour chart, the Bull Bear Power (BBP) has flipped positive, indicating that buyers have seized control.

Meanwhile, the Money Flow Index (MFI) surged above 92, signaling aggressive buying volume.

At the same time, the MFI above 90 places SKR in overbought territory. That often precedes either consolidation or a brief retracement before continuation.

While momentum favors bulls, price may need to cool off first.

As it stands, if Seeker’s price holds above the former channel resistance and turns $0.019 into support, the breakout remains healthy.

In that case, the move may be entering its second leg up.

Adoption Contributes to Price Growth

A key driver behind Seeker’s upside is the rapid acceleration of adoption across its ecosystem.

Around 25 apps have already integrated SKR as a shared incentive layer, directly increasing demand through real, on-chain utility.

This expanding network effect is strengthening token circulation while reinforcing the foundation for sustained price growth.

Reflecting market sentiment, Marino, a Solana enthusiast, believes that SKR’s rally might not be over.

“SKR just pumped over 30% in less than 12 hours. Just look at how many dApps already have SKR integrated into their ecosystems. And this is only the beginning—it will eventually power hundreds of dApps.” Marino noted.

From CCN’s findings, this wave of integration signals more than short-term hype; it points to a structural shift in how incentives are deployed across the ecosystem.

As more applications adopt SKR for rewards, cashback, and user engagement, demand is likely to compound alongside user growth.

Consequently, this creates a feedback loop where increased usage drives value, and rising value attracts further adoption.

If this trajectory holds, Seeker could transition from a speculative asset into a core utility layer.

Short Squeeze Adds to the Seeker Crypto Bullish Thesis

Outside of that, while SKR’s price broke out, the funding rate flashed a warning.

At the same time, funding rates have flipped deeply negative. That combination is important: it usually means the market is heavily skewed short while the price is rising.

In the short term, that actually supports the move up, because negative funding implies shorts are paying and can get squeezed.

That’s likely part of what drove this aggressive upside. However, the key shift is the extent to which funding has become extreme.

When you see very negative funding during a fast rally, it means the move is becoming crowded and reactive rather than stable.

If the short squeeze finishes and new buyers don’t step in, the price can reverse quickly.

So, from here, if SKR continues to push higher while funding stays negative, it can extend further toward $0.024.

But if Seeker’s price stalls around $0.02 and funding remains heavily negative, the risk shifts toward a pullback, likely back toward $0.018 as the squeeze unwinds.

SKR Price Prediction: No Breakdown

On the daily timeframe, SKR’s price is showing early signs of recovery after a prolonged downtrend, as it rebounds sharply from the lower boundary of a descending wedge.

The latest daily candle prints a strong bullish impulse, pushing Seeker’s price back toward $0.02. This move follows weeks of compression, suggesting a volatility expansion phase is underway.

Meanwhile, momentum indicators are turning supportive. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) has flipped bullish, with histogram bars expanding into positive territory.

At the same time, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is rising steadily, now sitting at 62.8 and pushing toward the overbought region.

This upward slope reflects strengthening momentum, as buyers continue to gain control of the trend.

While it has not yet crossed the 70 threshold, the current trajectory suggests growing bullish pressure.

However, the Seeker crypto price is still trading below key Fibonacci resistance levels, particularly the 0.236 level near $0.024. This area now acts as the immediate hurdle.

Should buying pressure increase, the altcoin could rise to $0.031 at the 0.382 Fib level.

Otherwise, rejection could trigger another retest of the wedge support, keeping the broader structure intact. In that scenario, the cryptocurrency’s value might fall below the horizontal support.
