Business analyst Roberto Serrano took to Twitter yesterday to suggest that fans should pencil Thursday, Aug. 6, into their diaries. Serrano also offered up a precise start time: 1 pm PT/4 pm ET/10 pm CEST. We’ve heard nothing from Sony to confirm or deny the information as of writing.
Sony’s Slow Reveal Strategy Brings Plenty of Rumors
Serrano track record is a mixed bag. The insider accurately pinpointed June 11 as the date for Sony’s PS5 ‘Future of Gaming’ blowout, setting a precedent for reputability.
The commentator’s standing took a hit last week after vehemently positing that Sony would open up pre-orders on Monday, July 13. The tip turned out to be a dud as the day passed with no activity from camp Sony.
