Fast advances in AI and Web3 continue to reshape technology, and new initiatives now focus on building fair access, stronger representation, and leadership opportunities across the industry.
Unstoppable Domains plays an active role in this shift as a company that provides user-owned digital identities on the blockchain. The platform gives people a way to control their data, manage their Web3 presence, and use a portable identity across applications, wallets, and AI systems.
The Unstoppable Women of Web3 and AI initiative reflects this mission. It highlights leaders driving innovation and supports education programs that reach communities often excluded from emerging tech.
The effort grew under the leadership of Unstoppable Domains COO Sandy Carter and a wider team committed to training, supporting, and recognizing thousands of women worldwide.

CCN is delighted to share that our Senior Editor, Dr. Guneet Kaur, received recognition as one of the Unstoppable Women of Web3 “Most Inspirational Women in Web3 and AI” 2025 honorees. She expressed her appreciation and said she felt “truly honored and grateful for the recognition.”
CCN now turns its attention to the work behind the initiative. Sandy Carter shared insights on the origins of Unstoppable Women of Web3 and AI, the role of digital identity, and the opportunities created at the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence.
Sandy Carter entered blockchain and noticed a troubling pattern in early applicant pools. She said, “Out of thousands of applications, only 3% were women, 3%”, she emphasizes.
She explained that interest existed, but access did not. Many women lacked confidence around emerging technologies, not because of skill, but because they lacked opportunities to learn and participate.
Sandy responded to the gap by launching Unstoppable Women of Web3 and AI with three pillars. She explained the mission through clear actions:
She adds that the work must continue, saying, “We need to keep educating, keep connecting women to opportunities, and keep putting successful women in the spotlight so the next generation can see themselves in these careers.”
Sandy says the initiative grew fast and now stands as a global movement that brings women into high-growth fields they once felt excluded from.
Sandy acknowledges meaningful progress across both fields. She said, “Women are founding companies, shaping policy, and driving innovation at every level.”
She notes that representation looks stronger than it did when she first joined the industry. Visibility has increased, and more women now serve in influential roles.
She also identifies gaps that remain. Women still hold a smaller share of technical positions and face clear barriers to funding and advancement.
For Sandy, the next stage depends on access, mentorship, and continued recognition.
Sandy highlights that ownership in Web3 depends on access and education. She describes global partnerships designed to widen participation. She referred to their partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office to give free domains to 1 million women in Abu Dhabi.
She adds that a partnership with The Female Quotient provided 600,000 free domains to women leaders around the world.
Sandy also stresses the importance of training. She says, “Most problems happen through simple mistakes, not sophisticated hacks.”
She explains that users gain trust when they understand how to manage and protect their digital identity. Unstoppable Domains invests in these resources to support safe, confident participation.
Sandy views the convergence of AI and blockchain as one of the most important developments in tech. She says, “AI agents will need to transact, verify identity, and operate autonomously.”
Blockchain provides the trust layer that supports secure payments, verifiable credentials, and transparent interactions.
She sees rapid progress in the emergence of intelligent agents with their own digital identity. She says, “We’re moving toward a world where your AI agent has its own wallet and digital identity.
That’s not science fiction. It’s happening now.” For Sandy, the future includes autonomous systems that can sign contracts, interact with other agents, and manage tasks.
Sandy explains that AI supports work across the entire organization, including customer support, marketing, and engineering.
She also highlights the company’s focus on identity infrastructure for external partners. She says, “As AI agents become more autonomous, they need identity.”
Her team works on solutions that help agents verify legitimacy in both digital and physical environments. She says, “A robot delivering packages or an AI agent managing your calendar needs to prove it’s legitimate. That’s where we come in.”
Sandy describes identity as a foundational layer that supports safe interactions for advanced intelligent systems.
Sandy encourages early participation. She says, “Start learning now. You don’t need permission to enter this space.”
“Don’t wait until you feel ready. Women often hold back until they check every box. She emphasizes that action often matters more than perfection.
Sandy also argues that progress begins with involvement and she highlights the value of community.
She says, “Jump in, learn publicly, ask questions, and build your network.” She adds that support systems help women grow with confidence.
Sandy concludes with a reminder of collective strength:
“Find your community. This work is easier when you’re surrounded by people who believe in you.”
