Key Takeaways
Dogecoin is showing early signs of a possible recovery as a rare technical signal, growing whale accumulation, and rising derivatives activity revive hopes of a larger rally.
The weekly TD Sequential has produced multiple consecutive buy signals, an unusual formation that can appear when sustained selling pressure approaches exhaustion.
At the same time, large holders reportedly purchased 200 million DOGE through Robinhood, a position worth approximately $14 million at prices near $0.07.
DOGE nevertheless remains trapped in a broader bearish structure. The memecoin trades near $0.073 and below its major daily moving averages, meaning buyers must overcome several resistance levels before the market can confirm a genuine trend reversal.

The repeated TD Sequential buy signals offer the strongest longer-term argument for a Dogecoin rebound. Traders use the indicator to identify potential points of trend exhaustion, and multiple consecutive signals suggest that DOGE may have become increasingly vulnerable to a bullish reversal.
Whale behavior appears to support that possibility. The reported acquisition of 200 million DOGE, while the token trades sideways, suggests that large investors may view the current range as an accumulation opportunity.

However, the transaction does not guarantee an immediate price increase. Its market impact will depend on whether the coins are moved into long-term storage or returned to exchanges, where they could create fresh selling pressure.
Derivatives traders are also rebuilding exposure. Dogecoin futures open interest rose by 3.7% to $1.08 billion, while trading volume jumped 114% to approximately $739.6 million.

Measured in DOGE, perpetual futures open interest increased from 14.35 billion to 14.74 billion tokens.
The combination of rising volume and open interest shows traders are opening new positions rather than simply closing old ones.
That can amplify a breakout, but it also creates the conditions for violent liquidations if DOGE moves sharply against leveraged traders.
CoinGlass data shows that Dogecoin sits between two large concentrations of leveraged positions. The nearest upside liquidity cluster sits between $0.0737 and $0.0740, while the most important downside pool lies between $0.0708 and $0.0710.
Because the upper cluster is closer to the current price, another move higher could liquidate short positions and pull DOGE toward $0.074. Additional liquidity around $0.0745 and $0.0755 could then extend the squeeze.

Short-term momentum supports that scenario. DOGE has reclaimed the 50% Fibonacci retracement around $0.0732 on the four-hour chart, while its RSI has climbed above 55.
The Aroon Up reading at 100% provides another sign that buyers have gained control over the latest price swing.
The improvement remains fragile. Losing $0.0732 would expose support at $0.0726 and $0.0719. A decisive fall below $0.0710 could trigger long liquidations and push Dogecoin beneath the psychological $0.070 threshold.
Despite its encouraging short-term indicators, Dogecoin has not confirmed a broader bullish reversal. The token remains below its 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day exponential moving averages, while the daily RSI near 38 reflects weak underlying demand.
The most important resistance area sits around $0.080. This zone combines the 50-day EMA, the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement, and Supertrend resistance near $0.0796.
A daily close above it would represent a meaningful change in market structure and could open the way toward $0.090 and $0.100.

The daily MACD suggests selling pressure is easing, with the MACD line crossing above its signal line and the histogram turning positive. Both lines remain below zero, however, preventing the indicator from confirming sustained bullish momentum.
Improving risk appetite may provide additional support. The Crypto Fear & Greed index has risen to 29, moving out of Extreme Fear despite ongoing US-Iran tensions. Oil prices have also moderated, with WTI falling to $81 from a daily high of $84.
For now, the whale purchase and repeated buy signals make Dogecoin’s setup increasingly interesting. But DOGE must defend $0.071 and decisively reclaim $0.080 before rally expectations turn into a confirmed bullish breakout.
