Dima Starodubcev

Is a decentralization evangelist. He is the architect behind the Cyber Fund and creator of Cyber Shares. He is an early bitcoin miner, and a Ethereum, Maidsafe, Bitshares genesis investor.

He has ten years of experience managing audit, consulting, government interaction, e-commerce, retail structures and three years of entrepreneurship.

Tell us a little about your involvement in the Cryptocurrency (or related) sector?

I am founder of cyber•Fund and creator of cyber•Shares. Excited about consensus technologies and believe they fix existing economy, eliminate politics and significantly improve quality of our life.

What is your primary reason for running for a Director seat?

Significantly improve BF efficiency and turn Bitcoin Foundation to follow Bitcoin principles.

How do you plan to achieve this goal?

Turn Bitcoin Foundation to self-governing DAC as Bitcoin itself.

Once achieved what would be your secondary aim(s) as a Director?

There will be no Directors in Bitcoin Foundation if I’ll achieve my goal.

What are your thoughts on the free market?

It is possible and there is no way nor reason to stop.

Should there be interaction from the Foundation with regulatory bodies?

No. Core development only.

What is your reasoning for the above answer?

Code should silently work explaining everything for people by granting possibilities which any government cannot give. Governments are managed by people.

What do you think about alternative coins?

I don’t like concept of alternative coins. Bitcoin is not the most efficient technology already. Bitcoin is the first but there are technologies like BitShares, NXT which are already far away from Bitcoin (except adoption). Ethereum and MaidSafe are coming.

What do think about the international efforts of the Foundation?

Nothing. Code is nation and language agnostic.
