From ZeroBlock to Blockchain.info to ChangeTip

Dan Held first entered the Bitcoin industry when starting ZeroBlock. Soon after becoming the most reviewed Bitcoin app in the Apple App store, ZeroBlock was bought by Blockchain.info when Held joined the web wallet service provider. Speaking to CCN.com, Dan Held emphasized that micropayments have been a lifelong passion of his:

Micropayments unlock an entirely new way to monetize content and users on the internet.  And at ChangeTip, we will be working to bring micropayments mainstream. The ability to directly tip your favorite content creator with small amounts of monetary value is deeply impactful.

The Bitcoin community has recently embraced ChangeTip both within the Bitcoin subreddit and the #Bitcoin community on Twitter. Even so, there are some areas of the Internet (such as certain subreddits) that are avoiding ChangeTip integration, at their own peril.

Micropayments and Bitcoin Are a Match Made in Heaven

Micropayments are a large and growing use case for Bitcoin and other digital currencies. Fittingly, ChangeTip is now poised to capitalize on this new development in technology:

Micropayments are one of the killer apps for Bitcoin, and I think ChangeTip will lead the way. ChangeTip has a great team, vision, and roadmap. I’m excited to be a part of it!
