Today, the company announced it’s going live in the EU as a regulated Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR), with oversight from the Central Bank of Ireland.
The MiCAR authorization allows Ramp Network to provide the full breadth of its features to all 27 EU countries. This means all of Ramp Network’s features are now available to all EU nations, including its on-ramp and off-ramp services. This allows Ramp Network to handle fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat conversions with ease, while giving its users protection through the EU’s regulatory oversight.
