Founded in 2016, 1win is a popular crypto entertainment platform registered in Willemstad, Curaçao, and primarily operating across Asia, Latin America, and Africa. It regularly collaborates with celebrities, including Luis Suarez, Tyga, and Jon Jones.

On August 4, 2026, 1win launched a new feature designed to simplify account access and management. Users can now register, sign in, and deposit funds directly from their crypto wallet, reducing reliance on email and password systems and eliminating the need to manually copy wallet information during deposits.

Understanding 1win’s New Verification System

Providing additional ways for users to access and use a platform is a significant enhancement. It makes onboarding easier and provides greater flexibility to users.

The 1win update transforms a user’s crypto wallet into their account identity, combining funding options and login credentials into a single system. When you connect your wallet to 1win, an account is automatically created, while deposits are confirmed by approving transactions directly within the wallet.

1win’s new verification system is already available to all users. It supports Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and other WalletConnect-enabled crypto storage solutions, so millions of people can use it without having to go out of their way to find and create a specific wallet.

Network support is broad. EVM-compatible networks are supported across every wallet with WalletConnect connectivity. Additionally, the Tron network is supported via Trust Wallet and other WalletConnect Tron wallets. With support for onboarding via the Tron network typically being limited across crypto entertainment platforms, 1win’s flexibility is advantageous for Tron holders.

Looking Forward

Users can still log in to 1win using the traditional email/password approach. However, the seamless crypto wallet login and deposit system offers many advantages. People often use the same email addresses and passwords for multiple platforms. A cryptographic solution removes this weak link, offering superior security that could help entice users who prefer to keep their information private.

1win speeds up the onboarding/depositing processes and removes the friction associated with managing usernames/passwords, copying wallet addresses, and approving logins via email. Reducing technical/convenience hurdles is a solid strategy for attracting new users.

While we’ll have to wait on user feedback to gauge performance, it seems likely that wallet-based login systems could become the new standard for crypto applications. They offer key advantages over current systems, so it’s worth keeping an eye on 1win to measure impact as the service rolls out.
