Lolli is a Bitcoin rewards platform owned by Thesis* and part of the company’s product stack, alongside Mezo, tBTC, and Fold. Lolli lets users earn rewards when shopping at thousands of retailers, while Thesis* is building a circular Bitcoin ecosystem for earning, borrowing, and spending BTC without selling.

Kard is an independent commerce media network that leverages AI and transaction data to build personalized offers that enhance the shopping experience for users while improving engagement and scalability for fintech firms and marketers.

Today, May 19th, 2026, the two companies announced an innovative partnership that will leverage Lolli’s 600,000+ person cashback audience and Kard’s merchant network, enabling users to automatically earn card-linked Bitcoin rewards when shopping with dozens of merchants, including Hydro Flask.

Ben Mackinnon, CEO of Kard, had this to say about the partnership:

“Lolli’s audience is one of the most distinctive consumer cohorts in the rewards space. We’re excited to power infrastructure that lets them earn Bitcoin in the background of their everyday spending, and to give our merchants a meaningful new channel into that audience.”

Simplifying Bitcoin Cashback

Traditional Bitcoin cashback systems are functional but typically require installing an app or a browser extension, or purchasing goods through a specific portal, which is inconvenient and introduces onboarding friction.

The Lolli-Kard partnership eliminates this hurdle. Users link their Visa or Mastercard bank card to the Lolli app once and start earning rewards on every qualifying purchase, without the need to manually enable each cashback offer.

Rewards are automatically distributed to the linked Lolli wallet. Users can then withdraw their assets via the Lightning Network or transfer them to Thesis*, where they can use Bitcoin as collateral for borrowing via a crypto-loans system.

Discussing the importance of a streamlined user flow, Thesis* co-founder Matt Luongo, said:

“Most people don’t want to think about earning Bitcoin. They want to live their lives and have it happen. Kard lets us deliver that. Our users link a card once, and Bitcoin shows up in their wallet from spending they were already going to do.”

Looking Forward

Cryptocurrency is evolving from a speculative, complex technology into a part of our daily lives, thanks in large part to companies like Lolli and Kard driving innovation and adoption forward.

The ability to earn cashback rewards paid in BTC will likely bolster cryptocurrency adoption. Users who wouldn’t have previously invested in crypto will now own BTC, so they’re incentivized to learn about and participate in the Bitcoin ecosystem to make the most of their rewards.

Typical cashback rewards weren’t listed, but they’ll likely vary by merchant. With big names like Dropbox and Stanley 1913 already a part of Kard’s network, we could see more companies joining. If everyday retailers like Amazon or Walmart start offering BTC cashback, then a drastic upshift in adoption could follow. However, we’ll have to wait and see how the Lolli-Kard cashback system evolves first.
