Wednesday, February 11th – Aurora Labs has just launched its new Intents Widget, a powerful tool that streamlines the integration of NEAR Intents into third-party applications. To complement the widget, Aurora Labs is also releasing the Intents Widget Studio. This in-browser configurator enables people to set up and deploy the widget for a seamless development experience.

Wallets and trading applications are already successfully utilizing NEAR intents, which consistently handle around $2.5 billion in monthly volume. Integrating Intents was previously challenging, requiring specialized frontend and backend development work. However, the Intents Widget provides a ready-made UI and configuration layer that abstracts routing, wallet flows, and cross-chain execution, streamlining integration.

The Intents Widget enables applications to accept any supported chain or token in a single flow when users connect a wallet and fund an action, eliminating the need for manual bridging or complex, multi-step swap processes. The widget slashes integration time for builders while utilizing the same NEAR Intents infrastructure currently deployed en masse.

Thanks to the Intents Widget Studio, even non-technical users can configure widgets directly in their browsers. They can customize supported chains and assets, default routes, partner fees, and interfaces before generating production-ready embed code that can be integrated using API keys, while APY-only flows enable advanced customization.

Large teams and advanced applications require clear, comprehensive reference material. Aurora Labs has created detailed technical documentation covering API-level integration, execution logic, custom routing, and post-swap workflows, providing projects with everything they need to get started and build tailored implementations.

The Intents Widget is flexible and supports a variety of production use cases, including:

  • Universal Top-Up: Enables users to fund their wallets across multiple chains directly in-app.
  • Frictionless Onboarding: Simplifies cross-chain collateral funding for trading and derivatives platforms.

Instead of introducing a new wallet, bridge, or trading venue, the Intents Widget leverages NEAR Intents as a neutral layer for execution and liquidity access that’s easily embeddable across various ecosystems. Aurora Labs aims to lower the barrier to adoption to promote broader use of intent-based execution and reduce user funding friction.

Moreover, Aurora Labs recently unveiled a Claude Code skill that helps developers start building with the Intents Swap Widget immediately. The Claude skill enables teams to set up and configure the Intents Widget, further reducing integration friction and time-to-production for builders adopting NEAR Intents.
