1win is a crypto entertainment platform that gained widespread popularity after its founding in 2016. With 100 million users and collaborations with well-known public figures, including Ilia Topuria, Ryan Garcia, and Tyga, 1win has established itself as a key player in the iGaming sector.
The platform’s native token, $1WIN, is now live for trading on Meteora following a successful two-week public sale which raised approximately $61 million from over 6,100 participants. With an initial target of $3.9 million, the $1WIN token sale was oversubscribed by 15.64 times.
People who participated in the token sale can now claim their $1WIN. The process is straightforward and open until October 31st 2027:
Step 1: Go to the $1WIN token website and connect the Solana wallet used to participate in the public sale.
Step 2: Press the ‘Claim’ button and approve the transaction from your wallet. You’ll need some SOL to cover network fees.
Step 3: After confirming the transaction, your $1WIN tokens and any unused USDC will be returned to your wallet. You may need to manually import the $1WIN token using its contract address, which can be verified on the 1win Token X account.
Following the public sale’s conclusion, $1WIN tokens are now available for on-chain trading on Meteroa, a popular decentralized liquidity protocol and Automated Market Maker (AMM). Users can track trading volume and the price of $1WIN denominated in SOL.
The Meteroa listing enables traders to buy and sell $1WIN on the open market. Prices are determined by supply and demand, rather than fixed by 1win, as in the public sale. Though things could change as additional supply enters the market, the asset has performed reasonably well since its October 31st listing.
$1WIN has a fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens, with around 267 million unlocked during the Token Generation Event (TGE). Additional tokens have been allocated to 1win games, wager rewards, liquidity, marketing, the treasury, and a Telegram Mini App airdrop.
While new tokens will regularly enter the market, $1WIN is supported by various buyback programs. 1win will use a portion of its gaming revenue to purchase tokens and burn 10% of the $1WIN tokens used across its platform. Token burns are publicly trackable via an on-chain dashboard, with the first scheduled for 30 days after the TGE.
The $1WIN token, public sale, and burn mechanism have all undergone security assessments by CertiK and Halborn.
1win has been deepening its roots in the Web3 sector for some time. Earlier this year, it launched multi-chain crypto deposits/withdrawals as well as wallet-based authentication via Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and WalletConnect, simplifying access and participation for digital asset enthusiasts.
With the $1WIN token being used to distribute rewards and enhance utility across the 1win ecosystem, it’s clear the company is betting big on crypto. While supported by 1win’s gaming revenue and a strict vesting schedule, the token’s success will ultimately be dictated by utility, demand, and market conditions.
