Paris Hilton is happy for her bestie.
In a statement prepared for People Magazine, the socialite-turned-DJ had nothing but glowing things to say about Kim Kardashian, which she prepared in response to the news that “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” was going off the air.
It’s funny how Hilton was singing a very different tune about Kardashian for so many years, but now she has nothing but nice things to say. What could have possibly changed, Paris?
What’s With Paris Hilton And Her Change Of Tune?
People Magazine felt it appropriate to reach out to Paris Hilton to comment about the cancellation of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” As you know, Kim Kardashian announced the show’s cancelation two days ago, and the Internet has been abuzz about it ever since.
Hilton, who hasn’t been much of a media personality since “The Simple Life” was canceled, felt like now was as good a time as any to re-insert herself into the pop culture conversation, and released a particularly smarmy statement in support of her “bestie.”
It makes me feel incredibly proud. I have known [Kim] since we were little girls, and the empires that she and her sisters and her mother have built is just amazing. I love them all so much, and it’s exciting to see your friends do well.
Okay, Paris Hilton. Whatever you say, girl.
We Have The Receipts
We live in an Internet age, where nothing ever really dies. Paris Hilton should have kept that in mind before spouting off her nonsense because it took no time at all for us to find a treasure trove of how catty she’d been to Kim Kardashian over the years.
Remember the “Kim Ho” incident, Paris? We certainly do .
Not, mind you, that Kardashian didn’t return the favor with snipes of her own. She even told Howard Stern that she hadn’t spoken to Hilton since 2009 after Hilton compared Kardashian’s butt to “cottage cheese in a trash bag.”
And remember when you said that you created the Kardashian empire, Paris Hilton? “Entertainment Tonight” certainly does. And look at that — there’s a video receipt to back it up!
Now all of a sudden, you “love” Kim Kardashian? Please, Paris Hilton. You’re as fake as a storyline on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
