Ten Bitcoin Companies to Showcase at CES 2015

World of BitcoinBitcoin payment processor BitPay, along with nine other bitcoin companies has announced plans to showcase at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2015, in an event called the “World of Bitcoin.” The World of Bitcoin will be the largest and most complete showcase of Bitcoin at the event. The other Bitcoin companies participating at the World of Bitcoin include Circle, Kraken, Bitmain, Blockchain, Bitstamp, Private Internet Access, Robocoin and yBitcoin.

The World of Bitcoin at CES 2015

The World of Bitcoin will be hosted in a 2,000 square foot island and host at least ten companies from different parts of the Bitcoin ecosystem. Attendees at the event will be able to download their first Bitcoin wallet, purchase bitcoins, try out mining, open a Bitcoin exchange account, learn about online security and meet professionals from the leading Bitcoin companies around the world. Together, the companies showcasing at The World of Bitcoin represent over $100 million in venture capital funding, a powerful statement to the growth potential of the Bitcoin industry. The World of Bitcoin will also feature exciting giveaways, promotions and product announcements from participating companies.

Bitcoin Rapidly Redefining Financial and Commercial Paradigms

Commenting on the event, Emily Vaughn, Marketing Manager at BitPay and the organizer of the World of Bitcoin said that Bitcoin was rapidly redefining financial and commercial paradigms, and that the upcoming event would be a unique experience for the 170,000 attendees expected at the Consumer Electronics Show.

BitPay has so far had a good year. It began processing bitcoin payments for Microsoft in 2014. The company also debuted its NFC-enabled payment app at the Money20/20 conference last month and plans to announce new ventures at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show.
