Commenting on the event, Emily Vaughn, Marketing Manager at BitPay and the organizer of the World of Bitcoin said that Bitcoin was rapidly redefining financial and commercial paradigms, and that the upcoming event would be a unique experience for the 170,000 attendees expected at the Consumer Electronics Show.
BitPay has so far had a good year. It began processing bitcoin payments for Microsoft in 2014. The company also debuted its NFC-enabled payment app at the Money20/20 conference last month and plans to announce new ventures at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show.
