Smartwatch with the breakthrough battery life of up to two years supports “Datum Enabled”, enabling its users to securely encrypt their data and decide do they want to share created data or not.

Zug, Switzerland, New York, USA and Beijing, China – 27th October, 2017. Datum, an upcoming data marketplace for all types of data is proud to announce the launch of second “Datum Enabled” device in the form of SWINGS hybrid smartwatch.

“When we launched Datum, we faced unprecedented interest, ranging from startups and large scale enterprises. In order to support our ecosystem, we launched ‘Datum Enabled’ program.” said Roger Haenni, co-founder and CEO of Datum. “We are enthusiastic to see a disruptive smartwatch maker opting to integrate Datum API in their complete line-up, enabling users to securely encrypt their data and then given them freedom to decide they want to do with collected data.”

SWINGS designed and manufactured, their upcoming line of smartwatches with the battery that lasts up to two years smashed through their initial crowdfunding goal by more than 10x, enabling the team to bring this innovation to market.

“The current smartwatch market is cumbered with the need to have daily charges, adding complication and more devices to wear. said Wenming Derek Mao, Chief Marketing Officer at SWINGS. “By pairing award-winning Swiss watch mechanism with an exclusive, power-saving friendly processor, we ere able to achieve up to two years of battery life using an affordable and recyclable battery.”

If you miss the Kickstarter discount window, which ends on 28th of October 2017, users will be able to buy SWINGS in etail and retail stores. Install the SWINGS app and connect it to the test version of Datum app, users will be able to completely encrypt their data and decide what they want to do with it.

Should they decide to connect SWINGS smartwatch to the Datum test network, they can share their activities and earn DAT tokens in the process.
