Rockstar has released a spectacular new trailer for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 ahead of its release on Nov. 5 .

Aside from the expository work of setting the scene for those that haven’t had the chance to experience Arthur Morgan’s compelling journey through an America on the brink of change, the 4k 60 FPS trailer is absolutely gorgeous.

Since Rockstar announced the PC version of the cowboy epic earlier this month, we know the game will be positively brimming with graphical enhancements, including better draw distances, shadows and lighting, and more detailed textures, but this is the first time we’ve seen these in action other than a sparse selection of screenshots.

The vast vistas are almost photo-realistic in their detail and fidelity. Details like fur, leaves, water, and even embers floating whimsically skyward are enhanced to bring Red Dead Redemption 2 to life in a way that simply isn’t possible on console.

Rockstar says prospective players can see:

“Red Dead Redemption 2 in stunning 4K/60 frames per second and see how packed full of new details and higher fidelity every corner of this vast open world is. From the claw marks of a passing bear at the base of a tree in Big Valley and the individual spines on a cactus in New Austin, to a train passing on a far horizon and embers sparkling in the New Hanover night sky.”

Based on today’s trailer, next month can’t come soon enough.
