FEBRUARY 26, 2019 (DEBERT, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA) — The Peerplays Blockchain Standards Association (PBSA), a non-profit organization that supports the development of provably fair gaming on the Peerplays blockchain, has once again expanded its development team with a series of new hires.
The most recent additions to PBSA are Alick Feldman, QA Testing Lead; Bobinson Bobby, Solution Architect; Roshan Syed, DevOps Engineer; and Prabhjot “Sunny” Singh, Senior Developer.
They follow the appointments in January of Henry Belakon, Project Manager; Justin Cheung, Full Stack Developer; and Adrian Metzler, Front End Developer.
The new hires mark the second major expansion of PBSA’s development capacity in less than a year.
“That we’re experiencing growth at a time when most in the industry are reducing staff speaks to the value of the work we’re doing,” said PBSA President Jonathan Baha’i.
“At the moment, we have several large projects in various stages of development, all of which necessitated the move to grow our development team in-house.
“This is in addition to our third-party contractors, each of which serves a strategic role in completing each project. We’re excited to welcome all new members to the PBSA team!”
In total, the PBSA has made seven new hires in 2019 alone, bringing its in-house staff to 21 (plus contractors), a 50 percent increase since the year started and a nearly 200 percent increase from February 2018.
