Although the hunger for quality multicoin wallet solutions is undeniable, finding them is no easy task. Especially considering that some of the very best ones have no commercial backing, and are true open source “labor of love” projects that solely rely on the generosity of the users.
CCN gets straight to the heart of the matter with the first installment of the Multicoin Wallet Roundup Series and presents you the following candidates.
The ALL-CoinWallet-QT multicoin wallet is a very simple open source QT-based multiCoin wallet coded in C#:

The Orca RPC multicoin wallet server is perfect for multicoin miners or pool operators with multiple altcoins, as well as private investors and investment pool operators. It was designed to run on top of an already existing apache install, and is currently in Beta as of February 25th, 2014.
The Orca RPC multicoin wallet server is a robust open source MultiRPC server that was designed as wallet controller interface panel.
Panic Mode is a powerful feature that will stop the signal to RPC server and delete the record from the database. It then tries to delete config.php. If it fails to do so, it instead changes config.php permission to unreadable.
Tested Cryptocurrency Wallet Clients:
The Orca OnLine Multicoin RPC Server demo: https://126.96.36.199/giveaccess.php.
The code can be found on Github: https://github.com/syslogA/orca-wallet.
The Lead Developer strongly recommends setting up both Apache and the RPC servers with SSL support.
Last up on this edition of the Multicoin Wallet Roundup Series is a rather intriguing open source multicoin wallet API. As the title suggests, the PHP5 Bitcoin API was made for use with custom web apps. The Lead Developer’s vision is to create good open-source Bitcoin-related web templates similar to MPOS.
From the Lead Developer:
I wanted to deliver an easier to use API with multi wallet support and of course I would code all the wishes of the community in, which means that this API will be exactly what everybody needs.
Sadly, like many outstanding open source projects, this project is no longer being proactively supported due to lack of community support.
