Meghan Markle Craves Her ‘Movie Moment’ – and Prince Harry is Ruining It

  • Prince Harry claims he doesn’t need the spotlight to live his best life, and I believe him.
  • Meghan Markle, on the other hand? Yeah, she’s hungry for that spotlight.
  • Both of them need to get on the same page if they want their audience to take their laughable claims seriously.

I always assumed that couples like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who are looking to cash in on their collective brand, would be on the same page when making public statements.

You’d also assume that a puff piece of a book written by a journalist close to both Harry and Meghan Markle would have its facts straight.

And yet, the message we’re getting from Prince Harry is entirely different from the reality of what he and Meghan are living.

Prince Harry wants to focus on “what really matters”

According to the Finding Freedom book, Prince Harry told a friend:

I don’t need that movie moment where we get out of a car and wave to hundreds of photographers before going into a building. It should just be about the work that’s happening inside. Let’s focus on what really matters.

Maybe he ought to be telling his wife, Meghan Markle, that this is how he feels.

Meghan Markle has a different view on “what really matters” it would seem

Earlier this year, Meghan paid a visit to the feminist climate change group Justice for Girls. She demanded absolute control over how the tour would be reported on the group’s social media channels.

The charity’s co-director was quoted as saying:

We wanted to ensure that what we were putting forward was an accurate representation of the meeting – we thought it went really well, but obviously, we want to make sure that was reciprocated.

In other words, the charity didn’t want to post anything before Meghan Markle, or her team gave them the green light.

The opposite of what Prince Harry claims they couple are looking to do.

The “movie moment” is what Meghan lives for. Without those paparazzi photographers and the public’s attention, she would be like a fish out of water.

And short of focusing on “the work that’s happening inside [the building]” as Prince Harry claims is important, Meghan Markle paid a visit to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre  yet at no time did she ever meet any of the 500 at-risk women there, or even go inside the facility.

Nope, just some quick media publicity shots at the administration offices instead.

The difference in approach from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is clear for all to see

Be it Prince Harry wanting to live in Australia or Meghan opting for Los Angeles, or Harry wanting a quiet life while Meghan wants to be front and center, the difference between both royals is blatantly apparent.

For the record, I believe Prince Harry would prefer to be out of the spotlight and live a reasonably quiet life on Vancouver Island or in Australia.

It’s Meghan Markle who wants to be living in the Mecca of celebrity life.

Unfortunately for Prince Harry, one of the main reasons Meghan Markle is even with him is the gravitas his family and name add to her brand. That cannot be exploited to the full in the middle of nowheresville Australia or on Vancouver Island.

There’s more chance of me meeting Meghan and Omid Scobie for coffee and a catch-up than Meghan shunning the spotlight!
