On March 26th, MEDP.AI, the technical supporter of AIDOC, officially announced that it will implement a full transition to “All in the Blockchain” model, and the original AI medical and hemodialysis business will be independently financed.
MEDP.AI launched a strategic cooperation plan with the Singapore AIDOC blockchain project in December last year, mainly to provide AIDOC with strategic technical support in the areas of AI, big data, and healthcare. After this major strategic adjustment, MEDP.AI will further increase the technical support in blockchain for the AIDOC project, and will also fully carry out the medical blockchain B-side business, providing medical institutions and healthcare service business, health-check agencies and insurance companies with the fundamental technologies and services related to blockchain, such as the development of alliance chains and private chains, the development of smart contracts, and the design of Token.
At present, the medical industry is an island industry that strictly preserves its own data and technology. The medical industry is fighting against each other for self-interest, leading to an increasing island effect. Governments and the United Nations have been calling for cooperation among enterprises to serve the healthcare of all human beings, but it doesn’t work well. It is mainly because that traditional business model is unfavorable for medical collaboration and data sharing.
Meanwhile, the medical industry suffers from large-scale problems in terms of data quality. These problems may come from doctors’ mistakes, hacking, or the updating problems due to simultaneous editing between same electronic health records (EHR). In any case, medical records are far from being completely trusted. Apart from that, the problem of different suppliers holding different versions of the same patient record also bothered us for a long time, however, these suppliers never check it, leaving patients in potential physical, mental and financial hazard, which may cause side effects.
Blockchain technology helps to resolve all these problems because no entity is in charge of the data, but meanwhile all parties are responsible for maintaining data security and integrity. This model provides the very source of truthfulness for medical treatment, keeping the system free from human errors.
This is similar to the solution used by some information exchanging systems, but the key difference lies in verification. Information exchanging systems only watch for the quality of patient records, and patients and suppliers have no other choices but to trust the records presented to them. However, improving and promoting a blockchain solution is not easy, largely because no one is sure about how to apply it to medical industry or how to get rid of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA. However, some blockchain technology companies, including Gem and Factom of the United States, and GuardTime of the United Kingdom, are bringing blockchain infrastructure into medical industry. Gem is now working with Philips’ healthcare department to create a Philips Blockchain Lab and is dedicated to finding answers to many questions related to the application of blockchain technology in medical industry.
Founder&CEO of AIDOC Wu Shizhan is one of China’s first blockchain entrepreneurs. Before the establishment of AIDOC, he was the co-founder of Taiyiyun/yuanbao.com, the world’s first listed blockchain company. Currently he is the first person specializing in blockchain, AI, and medical care in China and has in-depth researches on blockchain and AI medical care. He said that when people talk about blockchain, they first thought of Bitcoin. In fact, blockchain technology has been widely used in financial services industry. Its decentralized distributed storage technology in blockchain, the inability to tamper with blockchain encryption technology, and the open and transparent blockchain network are perfectly suitable for medical applications, such as:
“At this stage, we’re informed that a number of medical organizations have a rigid demand for blockchain technology. We’ve begun to provide them with relevant blockchain technology solutions.” Wu Shizhan marked that blockchain is currently the most popular cutting-edge technology. Together with big data, artificial intelligence and other high-tech, they are called the disruptive technologies that are about to change the world.
Artificial intelligence has always been a topic of concern in the medical industry in the past two years. However, it is facing a bottleneck. If artificial intelligence is about to progress, it will inevitably require a huge amount of data. However, none of the data providers can provide that much data. But with blockchain technology, once data creation can be valued and consensused, a huge market for medical data will come into shape, enabling artificial intelligence to achieve further development! ”
“Medical care+AI+Blockchain” is a perfect solution to the current medical industry dilemma. The revolutionary business model and fundamental technology can enable the whole medical industry to exchange data, develop collaboratively, and gain their own benefits. AIDOC is using Medical care+AI+Blockchain model to link high-quality resources to each patient, allowing them to have their own AI superpower doctors and promote universal medical benefits.
It is reported that on this Wednesday afternoon, the AIDOC Project will participate in the multitiered Blockchain activity initiated by Huobi Pro, sharing the progress of this project with investors and fans of AIDOC in Beijing, and discuss the industry outlook. In addition, AIDOC is looking forward to building an all-medical ecosystem of “Medical care+AI+Blockchain” together with farsighted people, and will continue to recruit talents for all posts: algorithms, blockchain architecture, products, design, business, marketing, public relations, operations, customer service, human resources, CEO assistant, investor relations, Game Numerical Planning, customer service in languages of English, Japanese, Korean and Russian. Working places are in Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, Shanghai. Please send your CV to email@example.com
