Liberland to Celebrate its First Annual “Liberty Day” Event
Maybe things where you are just aren’t working out. Perhaps your government has gone Jade Helm on you. Maybe taxes are too numerous, the websites you use are under constant Police State surveillance, and even your PayPal account is facing a corporate takeover. Do you dream of greener pastures, and a libertarian hope for freedom in your life? A nation that accepts Bitcoin as a national currency, but doesn’t accept an army that one day will be set upon its devoted people. Well, in eastern Europe there is a place for you. It’s called Liberland, and they will celebrate their new country and new citizenry by holding Liberland’s first ever “Liberty Day” event tomorrow, May 1st, 2015.
Liberland creates its first “Liberty Day”
There are some prerequisites to take into account. The event will be held tomorrow in Liberland. Liberland is the seven square kilometer territory nestled on the Danube River between Croatia and Serbia, just south of Hungary. And you would need to be in a process of gaining citizenship through the country’s website, Liberland.org . Here is the official statement from the government of Liberland:
With a great honor, we would like to invite you to a big party event – the first Liberty Day in Liberland! The president of Liberland has invited all the world’s presidents and will grant the first hundred of honorary citizenships. After you have registered for citizenship, before arriving you should register for the event itself here .
“We would like to celebrate this big event with all the people of good intentions. Anyone who has registered for citizenship and is the owner of a boat is welcome!
We will start to settle Liberland during the 1st May 2015 morning, and the first one hundred of honorary citizenships will be granted to the first one hundred people arriving. You can reach Liberland by boat. If you don’t own any, there is still a day left to rent one! Please, bring all necessary equipment for comfortable survival in nature with you and please, bear in mind that you attend the event at your own risks. Food will be available, as well as a great atmosphere, beer and flowers!”

An official time has not been given, so I’d be there first thing in the morning.
