Machine Gun Kelly could be dating washed-up sex symbol Megan Fox, but is she using him for a comeback? And is he really going to let the Z-lister take advantage of him?
Cast your mind back to 2007. Lindsay Lohan entered rehab for the third time, and Britney Spears went on a rampage with an umbrella and a pair of clippers. While the Disney princesses of the world were falling apart at the seams, Megan Fox’s career was just starting.
The brunette beauty exploded onto the scene with her killer curves, starring alongside Shia LeBoeuf in Transformers.
Meg’s rise to the top was stratospheric. At the tender age of 21, she became a world-renowned sex symbol overnight. Girls wanted to be her, guys wanted to date her. Little did we all know that she’d become yesterday’s news faster than LiLo’s failed music career.
Megan went from front page staple to Z-list has-been in a hot second. It all started when she bit the hand that fed her by putting Transformers director Michael Bay on blast.
He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is.
With comments like that, it’s not hard to see why the actress was blacklisted. Instead of rising up through Hollywood, she largely retired from the limelight and into her marriage with Brian Austin Green.
Megan and Brian Austin Green tied the knot in 2010, but it hasn’t been an easy ride. Neither actor has been blowing up the scene in Hollywood, especially since they have three kids to look after.
They even split in 2015, but Meg found out she had a bun in the oven, and they reconciled. Fast forward to this past Sunday, and Brian chose to share a very intriguing snap to his Instagram page.
It certainly looks like Brian’s setting the record straight on something. After all, his wife has been running all over town with Machine Gun Kelly during the pandemic but hasn’t been snapped with Green once.
Plus, it was Megan’s birthday on Saturday, and fans noticed that he didn’t do a special post to pay homage to the actress.
For those of you that don’t know, MGK is a rap sensation that has had some serious beef with Eminem. He’s kind of a big deal in the music industry, but he’s making some headway in the acting world, too.
He’s starred in movies like The Dirt and is currently filming Midnight in the Switchgrass alongside Megan and Emile Hirsch.
Most importantly, Machine Gun Kelly is relevant.
Megan, on the other hand, is a married mother of three that is struggling to regain the power she once had in Hollywood. Did they really hit it off, or is she just piggybacking on the rapper’s good standing to leapfrog herself forward?
While it’s always sad to see a woman chewed up and spat out in the business, Megan isn’t blameless.
She managed to trash the director that made her a star and enrage producer Steven Spielberg.
The crew members that worked with her on the franchise weren’t complimentary, either. In a scathing statement, they let her have it:
We know this quite intimately because we’ve had the tedious experience of working with the dumb-as-a-rock Megan Fox…One of us touches Megan’s panties, the other has the often shitty job of pulling Ms. Sourpants out of her trailer…When facing the press, Megan is the queen of talking trailer trash and posing like a porn star.
For all intents and purposes, Megan is allegedly so hard to work with that she doesn’t seem interested in being an actress at all.
So, when Randall Emmett hired her for his directorial debut, she did what faded stars do best. She put in minimal effort, ditched her husband, and used her looks to snare a man that could save her from fading into obscurity forever.
Be careful what you wish for, MGK. You might have found your very own Kim… and we all know how that turned out.
