Don’t Blame Cardi B For Her Impending Divorce From Cheater Offset

Cardi B has had enough.
After three years of marriage, the “WAP” rapper has announced that she’s filed divorce papers against her husband, the rapper Offset, with whom she shares a 2-year-old daughter named Kulture.
It took almost no time at all for the pick-me’s on Twitter to attack the superstar…but they’re failing to see what the real issue is.
Cardi B Is Tired Of Offset’s Cheating
When it was announced that Cardi B had filed for divorce from Offset, the reasons were also immediately clear .
The “WAP” rapper, 27, filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse on Tuesday, saying the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation,” reportedly after finding out the Migos rapper, 28, had been unfaithful yet again.
Just in case it didn’t register the first time, Offset didn’t just cheat on her once. He cheated on her several times.
Not only that, but his ex-girlfriend also released proof that he was cheating on Cardi B — evidence of which you can see in the video below.
How many more ways can Offset show he’s a cheater? He’ll never be faithful to his wife or anyone else.
Here Come The Pick-Me’s
Almost immediately, women posing as “virtuous” on Twitter came forward slamming Cardi B, claiming that because she sang about her “WAP,” she somehow deserved to get cheated on.
It’s embarrassing to see these disgraceful comments. Let’s once again be reminded that Offset cheated on Cardi B (and multiple times, no less ), not the other way around. She filed the divorce papers (which he’s contesting, by the way — which makes clear that while he still wants her, she clearly doesn’t want him).
Why should any woman stick around after a man has proved time and time again that he doesn’t respect her, their union, or himself enough to be loyal to her? More to the point, it’s pretty apparent that women who make comments like the one above feel threatened by women who — unlike them — are empowered enough to leave a relationship where they’re being lied to, cheated on, and disrespected.
Don’t blame Cardi B for her impending divorce. Blame her soon-to-be ex-husband for being disrespectful and disloyal.
