Despite Trump’s Victory with the Mueller Report, Dems Are Still Whining

The debacle is over. After two long and wasteful years, special counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his report to the Department of Justice (DOJ) only to prove what many of us already knew… That no collusion occurred  between President Trump and Russia.

Muller’s report says that neither Trump, nor any of his aides coordinated or conspired with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election. He is also suggesting that no further indictments  take place.

In the Clear?

The President celebrated in traditional Trump fashion by taking to Twitter to present the news:

One would think the mystery is finally at an end. That the hammer is laid to rest, and that both parties can move ahead in their attempts to steer the country in the right direction.

Not so.

It appears democrats aren’t too happy about coming up empty-handed and are now pushing the probe further despite Mueller’s lack of evidence that Trump had any contact or criminal deals with the Russian government.

Refusing to Concede

California Democrat and Chairman for the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff is reportedly still concerned with Trump’s alleged “relationship with Putin” and is now threatening to use “subpoena power ” to ensure all of Mueller’s evidence is collected and unhidden.

2020 hopeful Beto O’Rourke is either choosing to ignore the report or doesn’t realize it’s been released. Despite Trump’s declared innocence by Mueller’s findings, O’Rourke is telling supporters that Trump  colluded with Russia “beyond the shadow of a doubt:”

You have a president, who, in my opinion, beyond the shadow of a doubt, sought to, however ham-handedly, collude with the Russian government, a foreign power, to undermine and influence our elections.

Democratic Representative Steve Cohen of Tennessee is now claiming that there is “very little credence ” to the report summary offered by Attorney General William Barr, as Barr was “appointed by Trump.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is calling for the public release of the report, citing concerns that  the DOJ is holding “damaging information.”

House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Naddler is downplaying the report , calling it “limited” in scope, while MSNBC correspondent Joy-Ann Reid seems to accuse Mueller in a recent broadcast  of “covering up” for the President.

You Lost; Get Over It!

All this suggests one thing… That the democrats just can’t take it when they lose. They lost the presidential race in 2016, and they’ve been in a perpetual tantrum ever since.

They stumbled in their attempts  to attack Supreme Court Judge Brett Kavanaugh during his initial nomination. The evidence (or lack thereof) regarding sexual assault on Kavanaugh’s part failed to sway Congress to prevent Kavanaugh’s appointment. Now with the Mueller report, they’re still trying to keep the ball rolling despite confirmation that Trump likely did no wrong.

Democrats in power have shown us they’re not as interested in the truth as they are in simply defying Republican authority. Despite holding a filibuster  in the name of DACA dreamers, for example, Pelosi rejected a Trump plan  that offered safety for young immigrants in exchange for border wall funding. Is she looking to help dreamers or simply block Trump’s administration?

The time has come for them to accept the reality of life – that you can’t win every contest. Sometimes, you’re stuck being the runner-up, but maturity comes from accepting this and moving on, not from clenching your fists and screaming until you get what you want. To the democrats in Congress… Can you please grow up, already? It’s time to put America ahead of your own agendas.
