  • Meghan Markle’s birthday has come and gone, and the big hitters from the royal family all acknowledged it with the class that we’ve come to associate with the British monarchy.
  • The birthday wish from Duchess Kate Middleton will have caught Meghan’s eye, and hopefully, Malibu Meg learns something from the way Kate dealt with a potentially disruptive situation.
  • Meghan’s Sussex Squad can put away the hate-filled diatribes for now.

In case any of you missed it, Meghan Markle turned 39 recently, and yes, Duchess Kate Middleton acknowledged Meghan’s big day.

The Sussex Squad and Meghan’s fangirls can all relax! Your girl got the recognition she craves from the future King and Queen consort!

Sure, the Westminster Abbey bells did not chime to mark the glorious occasion, but you can’t have everything. Not to mention that such a gesture is reserved for real royalty, which Meghan Markle most certainly isn’t.

Meghan Markle should be honored Kate Middleton took the time to acknowledge her birthday

While Prince Charles and the Queen posted birthday wishes for Meghan, it will have been the message from Duchess Kate Middleton that caught Meghan’s eye.

Let’s be honest, the relationship between both of them hasn’t been great, and the release of the preposterous biography Finding Freedom certainly hasn’t helped matters.

Despite that, and the reported links Meghan Markle had to the Tatler article that caused Kate so much heartache, the Duchess of Cambridge has shown her true class by rising above all of that and being the bigger person.

In fact, by doing so, Kate Middleton has given Meghan Markle the best birthday gift of all. A lesson in class. Something that has been in short supply when it comes to Malibu Meg.

Kate Middleton knows Meghan Markle doesn’t like her, but she’s risen above it

Royal expert Ingrid Seward, Editor-in-Chief of Majesty, commented on Meghan’s birthday wishes, claiming:

William is barely speaking to his brother Harry, and Kate has every reason to be upset with Meghan, but they have risen above it. I imagine the Duchess of Cambridge has better things to think about than the supposed ‘feud’ with Meghan.

Quite.

In fact, there’s a good chance that none of the royals actually took the time to personally post the birthday message for Meghan Markle, and rather left it to staff to take care of something so trivial.

But still, her fans will see it as some sort of victory, and who am I to spoil their day in the sun?

Will Meghan learn from the way Kate approached this situation?

As I said, Meghan Markle could learn a lot from Duchess Kate Middleton on how to handle a situation with class and dignity.

If Meghan had checked her ego at the door of the palace and realized she could learn much from Duchess Kate, there’s a good chance she wouldn’t be freeloading her way through life in LA.

Meghan’s fans despise Duchess Kate Middleton with a passion that is, quite frankly, disturbing. It’s not hard to see why, though.

Kate Middleton is everything that Meghan Markle wanted to be. She’s spoken often enough about wanting to be the Disney princess who is loved by her people and embodies the true spirit of what a princess should be.

Kate Middleton is precisely that.

Sadly, Meghan’s chance of that life is now gone, but hopefully, she can take something from Kate’s hidden birthday gift and learn from the Duchess of Cambridge.

Better late than never.
