Despite the digitalisation of several important aspects of modern life, elections are still largely conducted offline, on paper. Since the turn of the century, e-voting has been considered a promising and eventually inevitable development, which could speed up, simplify and reduce the cost of elections, and might even lead to higher voter turnouts and the development of stronger democracies.

Boulé is a new Ethereum Token that applies Blockchain technology to the Political Voting System, digitalizing paper-work ballots, giving the remote voting opportunity to the electors, increasing voter turnout and making the voting process cheaper, faster and safer.

To bootstrap the development of the platform and make sure to get in touch with the appropriate advisors to implement the project we planned 2 Phases:

  1. We will launch a Pre-sale Token campaign the 28th of August with 24 hours priority pass for investors that subscribe on our website.
We take care of early investors that’s why we choose to have a minimum cap of 400 ETH (if we will not reach the minimum we will refund money), and a Maximum cap of 10000 ETH.
Pre-sale contribution period finishes the 24th of September. After that, we will open a discussion table with all the project supporters to understand how can we improve our vision to activate the smart contract of the voting system.

  2. The ICO will start the 6th of October, and it will finish the 30th October.
We set a Maximum cap is 290000 ETH in order to develop a large scale platform for several kinds of election. We will launch the ICO to enlarge the user base and to find other evangelists which can test our services such as non-profit associations, small local communities, and scholar institutions.

In November tokens will be traded on some exchanges whom we are already discussing with.

We’ll also start the development of a first beta version to test the system, and we’ll do that in partnership with the Scientific Institute of Spanish e-Government.

They will test our first beta release and after the test period, they will be our licensee for Spain and South America.

We are also studying the IOTA tangle protocol for the voting system because it seems the most reliable protocol in the crypto field.

Until the moment we will be ready to develop a dedicated Boulé Chain, all the operations (Electors Identification and Voting submission) will be done on the Ethereum Blockchain.

How does it work?

Vote organizers release the electors’ list and Boulé Technologies will identify and allow electors to vote. Identification could be done also by an independent third party on the blockchain.

Electors then are allowed to vote and they can do it on a dedicated platform that Boulé will develop for the Institution.

Every candidate or vote choice will be randomly disposed on the ballot in order to do not advantage anyone. The vote can be changed anytime during the poll period, with no limits. Last expressed vote will be the official recorded one to impact the electoral result. It won’t be possible to know the partial result while the poll is open. No one can link elector to the expressed vote, nor Boulé Foundation can do that.

If you want to be part of this disruptive project join our presale the 28th of August and help us empowering Democracy.
