Andreas is everyone’s favorite Bitcoin evangelist, so it’s great to see him partner up with one of the largest online wallets in the world. Blockchain.info has stood the test of time as a provider of online wallets, and hiring Andreas Antonopoulos proves that they are serious when it comes to creating the most secure online wallets in the world. It will be interesting to see if some people decide to switchover to blockchain.info as a result of Andreas joining their team. You can read more about this announcement on the blockchain.info blog.
Appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience
This will end up being a huge week overall for Andreas, as he will also be appearing on Monday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. He will be the first Bitcoin evangelist to appear on the show. This appearance is a pretty big deal because the podcast receives between 500,000 and 1,000,000 listeners per episode. This appearance could open up Bitcoin to a whole new audience, and there is no better person to welcome this new group of people to Bitcoin than Andreas. His talks have inspired thousands of new Bitcoiners from around the world, so he should be able to convert a few more people over to the idea of cryptocurrencies and decentralized ledgers with his appearance on the show. Here’s to hoping that he will also get to respond to some of Peter’s Schiffs comments made on one of the recent episodes of the podcast.
