Where Amouranth’s NSFW Wardrobe Malfunction Ranks in Twitch Ban History

Twitch bans popular streamer Amouranth after she accidentally exposes herself during an ASMR stream. Amouranth had successfully reached her subscriber goal of 200 new subs, unlocking the reward of ASMR with her dog. The Twitch streamer was in the process of performing the ASMR when the wardrobe malfunction happened.

In the NSFW clip here, Amouranth can be seen rolling on the ground with her dog, performing ASMR. However, a few seconds into the clip, the streamer’s shorts fall to the side, accidentally exposing her genitals.

Amouranth’s chat was quick to tell the streamer about the wardrobe mistake but not before someone else had saved the clip. The clip has been shared on social media, getting 18K upvotes on /LivestreamFail, a popular subreddit for Twitch slip-ups, such as Tfue’s use of the n-word last week.

Twitch Bans and U-Turns

It took Twitch moderators less than a day to hand down a ban to Amouranth. The wardrobe malfunction, though an accident, does violate Twitch’s strict rules on nudity and wearing sexually suggestive clothing. The company takes NSFW content on its platform very seriously, though one time it did accidentally promote porn on Ninja’s channel, prompting huge backlash.

It’s unclear how long Amouranth’s ban is for but looking at other high profile Twitch bans for nudity and other NSFW content, it’s unlikely to be for very long.

A group of Korean models were banned from Twitch for three days after streaming in their bathing suits. BadBunny, who has more than 90,000 Twitch followers, was banned for accidentally exposing her genitals back in April. Overwatch streamer xQc was banned too for watching a safe for work pornography video that featured a small amount of nude content. None of the streamers got bans longer than a week, however, so Amouranth will likely be back to streaming soon.
